Tyre Fitter – BMW Ashford

Responsibilities:

• Perform tyre fitting and balancing on various models of cars.
• Inspect tyres for wear, damage, and inflation issues, providing recommendations to staff when necessary.
• Efficiently use tyre fitting equipment and machinery to ensure high-quality service.
• Order tyres from our preferred suppliers and ensure you always maintain the required stock levels.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in tyre fitting is highly desirable, but candidates with a mechanical background outside the tyre industry will be considered.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and a passion for working with vehicles.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy tyres and equipment.
• Excellent attention to detail and precision in tyre fitting and balancing.
• Effective communication skills with team members and customers.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and industry trends.
• Valid driver's license.

This is a full-time position of 42.5 hours per week. Standard hours of work will be 8.00 am to 5.00 pm on Monday to Friday.
