Trainee Tyre Fitter - BMW Canterbury

Responsibilities:

· Perform tyre fitting and balancing on various models of cars.

· Inspect tyres for wear, damage, and inflation issues, providing recommendations to staff when necessary.

· Efficiently use tyre fitting equipment and machinery to ensure high-quality service.

· Order tyres from our preferred suppliers and ensure you always maintain the required stock levels.

· Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Requirements:

· Previous experience in tyre fitting is highly desirable, but candidates with a mechanical background outside the tyre industry will be considered.

· Strong mechanical aptitude and a passion for working with vehicles.

· Ability to lift and carry heavy tyres and equipment.

· Excellent attention to detail and precision in tyre fitting and balancing.

· Effective communication skills with team members and customers.

· Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and industry trends.

· Valid driver's license.

This is a full-time position of 42.5 hours per week. Standard hours of work will be 8.00am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday.
