On Sunday 3 May, East Kent was filled with determination, community spirit and a shared sense of purpose as hundreds of cyclists took part in the 16th annual Pilgrims Hospices Cycle Challenge.
At Barretts, we were incredibly proud to support this inspiring event once again. As long-standing advocates of Pilgrims Hospices, it's a cause close to our hearts, one that continues to make a profound difference to families across our local community.
As part of the event, we displayed a selection of standout models, adding something a little special to the atmosphere for riders, supporters and visitors alike. The line-up included the BMW X7, MINI John Cooper Works Countryman, Honda Prelude and Range Rover SV, attracting plenty of attention throughout the day.
It was a great opportunity to be part of the occasion, connecting with the local community, supporting participants, and celebrating the incredible effort that goes into every mile completed.
The Cycle Challenge continues to be a highlight in the Kent calendar, bringing together people of all abilities, each with their own reason for riding. This year 770 participants came together to raise an incredible £90,000, all in support of Pilgrims Hospices.
Behind every mile is a story, and behind every story is the incredible work Pilgrims does, providing compassionate, specialist end-of-life care to patients and their families when they need it most.
