PDI / Preparation Technician – Barretts Group, Canterbury

We are looking to recruit a PDI/Preparation Technician to join our PDI Centre in Hersden, Canterbury.

You will be joining a dedicated facility which is responsible for preparing new & used vehicles for our BMW, MINI & JLR Brands but also supporting all our 5 busy main dealerships.

This role will include fitting accessories, such as tow bars, mud flaps & side steps, additionally carrying out servicing & repair works according to manufacturer’s specification.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of automotive systems and functionalities. To succeed in this role, you must have the ability to work as part of a team and to work methodically, efficiently and with customer satisfaction as a top priority at all times.

Minimum requirements:

· Hold a full UK driving license for both manual and automatic vehicles.

· Level 2 IMI/NVQ or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance.

· 1 year’s Mechanical experience in full time employment.

Preferred but not essential requirement:

· Valid MOT license class 4 & 7

Your hours of work would be Monday – Friday 8:00 to 17:00. 42.5 hours per week, no weekends.

Salary is £32,000.
