MOT Tester at Barretts Vehicle Preparation Centre –Canterbury

We are looking to recruit a full-time qualified MOT Tester to join our PDI Centre in Canterbury.

As the sites dedicated MOT Tester, you’ll be carrying out MOT Tests to the highest standard. You will also be required to support the team where required with servicing, repairs and vehicle maintenance.

You would be working in a state of the art facility which is responsible for preparing new & used vehicles for our BMW, MINI & JLR Brands but also supporting all our 6 busy main dealerships.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of automotive systems and functionalities.To succeed in this role, you must have the ability to work as part of a team and to work methodically, efficiently and with customer satisfaction as a top priority at all times.

Minimum requirements:

  • A current valid MOT License
  • Full UK driving license
  • A Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance so you are able to assist with servicing, repairs and vehicle maintenance when not performing MOT’s.

Salary is dependent on experience.

Full time permanent position, working 42.5 hours per week, 8am – 5pm, no weekends.

Or a part time role would be considered for the right individual.
