TEAM BARRETTS TAKE ON THE CANTERBURY BIKE RIDE

On Sunday 25th September 2016 the Barretts cycling team took on The Canterbury Bike Ride in support of Wheelchair Rugby, the Kent MS Therapy Centre and Kent, Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance Trust.

With 25, 55 and 85 mile routes to choose from there was something for everyone to show their support and go for a ride. The day received a great turnout with over 400 riders, including our team of 14 that eagerly awaited the 9:00am set off time at the Kent MS Therapy Centre, Canterbury.

A few hours after starting, the 25 mile riders were well into their route whereas our team were just approaching half way - heading straight for the south coast on the longer routes. However, as the day progressed and with a few aching legs, our team had all returned back to where they set off from - 85 miles later.

Well done to everyone that was involved!
