From sizzling breakfasts to a buzzing quiz night, our teams got stuck in to raise money for Ben, the automotive industry charity, and showed just how powerful a bit of fun and fundraising can be.
Ben does incredible work supporting people across the automotive world from mental health and wellbeing to financial and family support. We’re proud to stand behind a charity that makes such a meaningful difference.
We kicked off the week with Ben’s breakfast, served across our sites from Monday to Thursday. The smell of bacon, sausages and eggs filled the air as colleagues enjoyed a hearty breakfast roll to start their day, all while contributing to a great cause. Huge thanks to Denise, Vicky, Sarah and June for setting up and serving, and a special shout-out to Shaun, who cooked around 400 breakfasts in just four days. Due to the outstanding support from the team, we managed to raise over £1,000.
To wrap up the week, teams from across Barretts came together for a lively quiz night, raising over £1450! Jaguar Land Rover Canterbury took the win, while Ashford BMW earned the title of Best Team Name. The night was packed with laughs and friendly competition. A huge thank you to the local businesses who donated prizes, your support made the night event more special.
We're proud of the effort our team at Barretts put into giving back, and we're delighted to share that we have raised over £2,400 to support Ben, a charity that's there when it matters most.
