At its core, the M5 Competition is a statement of performance, and this can be seen and felt in every inch of the design. Instantly noticeable is the striking face of the new M5 Competition, dominated by the enlarged kidney-grille which is now connected by a seamless frame finished in High-gloss Black. A completely new front apron offers athletic proportions which are further accentuated by a lower centre of gravity and a wider stance, offering superb handling.

Inside, the new M5 Competition perfectly balances sporting elegance with refined comfort. The driver-oriented cockpit comes in luxurious Full Merino leather, with new Galvanic controls and track-inspired M detailing.

INTERIOR 

The all-new BMW M5 Competition elevates performance through blistering connectivity. Now more connected than ever before, the M5 features BMW ConnectedDrive with Intelligent Personal Assistant and the latest standard Connective Package Professional. This comes with Real Time Traffic Information, Connected Music, and Remote Services and Smartphone Integration featuring Apple CarPlay and Android Auto for the first time. What’s more, it comes with BMW’s Head-up Display and a new larger 12.3" touchscreen Central Information Display.

DRIVING DYNAMICS

As a true thoroughbred in the BMW M portfolio, the sublime balance of explosive M TwinPower Turbo technology and track-inspired performance technology offers the new M5 Competition the complete driving experience and everything you want from an M model. The BMW M TwinPower Turbo 8-cylinder petrol engine draws its energy from the most powerful engine ever developed for a BMW M production car. The 4.4-litre power unit delivers 625hp, 750 Nm of torque, and goes from 0 to 62mh in only 3.3 seconds.

What's more, performance enhancements such as the M Compound brakes in red high-gloss, M Servotronic steering for precision handling, and M Sport exhaust system for that emotional M Soundtrack, are truly set to thrill.

With the new M mode button, as previously seen in the M8 range, the driver can switch between the ROAD and SPORT settings whilst a prolonged hold activates the new TRACK mode. This new feature allows the M5 Competition to be adaptable to all driving scenarios and can be individually configured to the customer's driving style.
