The full hybrid experience
Honda’s e:HEV full hybrid technology can run silently on pure electric power, delivering up to 315 Nm of torque – which a mild hybrid cannot do.
No need to plug in
You’ll never have to plug in the new Civic e:HEV as the full hybrid powertrain does not need a mains electricity supply and, in addition, captures energy lost while braking and returns it to the hybrid battery.
Peace of mind
Honda is well-known for its reliability and has a wealth of experience and knowledge of hybrid engine technology. Even so, we offer a 5 year/90,000 miles warranty* on each of our hybrid batteries.

Super-efficient
The Civic has a range of up to 521 miles* in real-world driving and achieves CO2 emissions as low as 89g/km* without sacrificing comfort or performance.

Feel safe in your Civic with Honda SENSING
Created to keep you and your passengers safe, Honda SENSING is a suite of clever safety features that alerts you to the dangers you might miss. The new Honda Civic features some of the latest additions such as Traffic Jam Assist.
Civic’s upgraded Honda infotainment system is accessed through a fast-reacting nine-inch touchscreen or via voice control. The controls and menu layers are optimised to minimise up-and-down eye movement to promote simple and fast operation. A finger rest for the touch panel stabilises the user’s fingertip even when the vehicle is in motion, with the six customisable shortcut options now placed just above for easy access to functions such as the navigation system, phone, and audio. Physical buttons for ‘Home’ and ‘Back’ operations and the audio control dial have been enlarged, making them easier to use while driving.
The Honda SENSING system has a range of additional safety features compared to the outgoing Civic, and some of the existing functions have been significantly improved. In addition, new structural support around the vehicle maintains the highest level of passenger and pedestrian safety, exceeding development benchmarks set against E-segment models. The new model is the latest step in Honda’s bold ambition to bring traffic collision fatalities involving Honda automobiles and motorcycles to zero by 2050.
Sonar sensors debut in the all-new Civic, with four at the front and four at the rear, the sensors use the reflection of sound waves to detect non-metallic objects such as glass and walls far more reliably and with far greater accuracy than the millimetre wave radar that was previously used. The new Civic is also fitted with a front wide-view camera. It provides a wider 100-degree view and enables enhanced recognition technology to improve the Civic’s capability to identify road lines, verges, motorcycles, and cyclists.
