​ARE YOU ELIGIBLE?

To receive your 1 Year Free Insurance with your new MINI, you must: 

  • Pass an ID check at your address. 
  • Hold a full UK/EU driving licence and be eligible for MINI Flex Car Insurance. 
  • Be a UK resident. 
  • Had had no more than three at-fault claims in the past five years. 
  • Had had no more than three minor driving convictions in the past five years, and no major convictions. ​

​MINI EXCLUSIONS. 

The following MINI Exclusions apply to the MINI 1 Year Free Insurance offer: 

  • Drivers must be between 21-80 years old.
  • New All-Electric MINI Cooper, New MINI Countryman and John Cooper Works models are excluded.
  • Cover is only for the use of the insured vehicle.
  • Theft or attempted theft of your car is unoccupied at the time of theft, unless your car is locked and the ignition key or other removable ignition device was not in, on, or left the unattended in the immediate proximity of the car.
  • Loos or damage to non-standard audio/visual and other non-standard in-car entertainment.
  • Driving other cars restricted to drivers aged 25 or over.
  • No Claims Bonus (NCB) Protection is available if you have earned at least four years NCB at inception of the policy.
  • Option to purchase No Claims Bonus protection and Legal Expenses cover during free cover period.
  • Uninsured driver promise will only apply once MINI approve the accident was not your fault and you provide details of the uninsured driver if possible.
