On 23rd April 2017, Broad Oak MINI Sponsored and partook in the St George's Day Breakfast run.
This is organised by the MINI Cooper Register (http://www.minicooper.org) a group of MINI owners and enthusiasts who organise meets and events across the Nation.
The run started from a local cafe in Sellinge, just outside Folkestone. The routes took the crews out to Kent's marshes and through our scenic villages including Ham Street, Appledore, Charing, Challock and Wye.
The run finished at Broad Oak MINI on the Orbital Park in Ashford as the drivers pulled through the club's new 'Rally Arch'. Awards were presented at Broad Oak for various categories. One of these was the Car of the Day which was chosen by our very own Harry Hills who participated in the run. The winner being Paul Clare.
It is always a great day with the MCR Club, the next event being the Ham Sandwich Run this coming August. We look forward to it.
