Barretts MINI Leads Canterbury Pride's 10th Anniversary in Style

On Saturday 6th June, Barretts MINI was proud to support Canterbury Pride's 10th anniversary celebrations, marking a decade of colour, community and self-expression across the city.

We had the honour of leading the parade and, in true British fashion, while the rain made an appearance, it certainly didn't dampen the spirit across Canterbury.

At the front, our MINI Convertible embraced the moment... roof down, rain falling, and absolutely no intention of doing things halfway. If you were there, you might have spotted our "Look at me, I'm topless" messaging raising a few smiles along the route, as two incredible drag queens brought the energy, turning the car into a moving celebration filled with dancing, waving and music.

The crowds match it every step of the way, umbrellas up, spirits high and cheers echoing through the streets, a reminder that Pride is all about showing up, celebrating together and embracing exactly who you are, whatever the weather.

10 Years of Pride, and Every Reason to Celebrate

Being part of Canterbury Pride's 10th anniversary made this year feel even more special. It's a huge milestone for the city and a brilliant reflection of the community behind it.

For us, it was about getting involved, showing our support, and adding a little MINI personality to an already incredible day. Rain, laughter, amazing outfits and one very confident Convertible... it all came together to create something truly memorable.

A huge thank you goes to the organisers, volunteers, performers and sponsors who make Canterbury Pride possible each year, and to Cheryl at Go Girls Signs for bringing our Convertible to life with such a fun, head-turning message.

We loved being part of such a special celebration and are proud to support our local community.
