Defenders at Canterbury Rugby Club

Defenders on the Pitch.

A Big Day of Rugby, Community Spirit, and Iconic Land Rovers.

On Saturday, 14th February, the Barretts Jaguar Land Rover team visited Canterbury Rugby Club for a memorable day celebrating rugby, community, and the iconic Land Rover Defender. With the Six Nations on screen and Canterbury's team playing at home, the Club offered the perfect setting to showcase three Defenders at the heart of the matchday experience.

As the Official Vehicle Partner of England Rugby, the Defender shares a natural connection with the sport. Its blend of strength, confidence, and capability mirrors the qualities shown by players on the pitch, making its presence at the Club feel both fitting and meaningful.

A Defender Display to Explore.

Throughout the day, supporters and families enjoyed the opportunity to explore the Defender line-up, including the Defender 110, Defender 130 and Defender OCTA. Each model attracted interest for its design, comfort, and impressive features, providing guests with a closer look at what makes the Defender such a standout vehicle.

The display became a focal point for conversation, offering a premium touch to an already exciting matchday.

Committed to Our Local Rugby Community

Our partnership with Canterbury Rugby Club is one we truly value. Having supported the Club for years, we're proud to continue this long-standing relationship and to play a part in the strength of its local community.

The Club brings people together, inspires young players, and represents the spirit of Canterbury both on and off the pitch. Being able to contribute to that journey is something we're genuinely honoured to do. Events like this highlight why our partnership matters: shared values, shared ambition, and a shared commitment to supporting the community.

A huge thank you to Canterbury Rugby Club for their warm welcome, and to everyone who took the time to visit the Defender display. It was a pleasure to be part of the day, and we look forward to many more opportunities to support the Club and connect with the community.

Here’s to more rugby, more shared moments, and more opportunities to showcase the Defender’s exceptional capability.
