The all-new Range Rover is available with a new extended-range plug-in hybrid. The PHEV models combine a 3.0-litre 6 cylinder Ingenium petrol engine with a 105kW electric motor, to deliver a sustainable driving performance. Available in P440e or P510e variants, experience the future of hybrid driving.

This model has an electric-only range of 62 miles enabling your city commute to be emission free. With charging up to 80 percent in < 60 mins, with a 50kW DC rapid charger, the new Range Rover PHEV will be ready to go when you are. Alternatively, charge at home up to 100% in only 5 hours, using a 7kW AC home charger.​​ What's more, with combined CO2 emissions of less than 30g/km, you can minimise your carbon footprint as you explore nature’s playground.

HOME CHARGING

Our PHEV range can fully charge from either a domestic socket or an IEC connector.

A Mode 2 Standard Charging Cable which is ideally suited to charge overnight using a domestic socket. All Land Rover PHEV vehicles come with a Standard Charging Cable, enabling emissions free commuting for up to 62 miles.

Where more flexible or faster EV charging solutions are required, optional charging solutions including a Mode 2 Multi-function Charging Cable and A/C wall box can be specified.

Home And Public Charging Point - Barretts Kent

PUBLIC CHARGING

For charging your Plug-in Hybrid vehicle away from home, you can use public charging stations which can be found at motorway service stations, fuel stations and public car parks. 

For when you’re on the move, the Public Charging Cable (Mode 3 Charging Cable) enables you to connect with AC charging stations. The cable is compatible with a home wall box.

The robust wall box can be fitted at a suitable location convenient to you and will be fitted to the highest standards by a Land Rover recommended supplier. Contact us for more information.



HOW PHEV WORKS

PHEV combines our lightweight Ingenium engine and 105kW electric motor, together with a large 13 kWh capacity battery which is charged via an external source. In EV mode this delivers up to 62 miles from a full charge with zero CO2 tailpipe emissions.

Q) IS THE BATTERY COVERED BY WARRANTY?

A) Yes. In addition to the standard vehicle warranty, our EV batteries have an eight-year warranty.

Q) WHAT IS THE RANGE OF PHEV?

A) Using the electric motor only, PHEV has a range of up to 62 miles*. PHEV also utilises an Ingenium petrol engine to support a much larger range, in the same way as other combustion engine vehicles.​

A) Yes. The safety of the PHEV charging process is fully assured.

A) The electricity grid can easily handle electric vehicle charging, most of which occurs overnight when power usage is low. We, and other car makers, are working with governments and energy providers to ensure supplies are maintained.​

A) No, far from it. Electric motors generate instant and full torque from standstill, leading to stunning response and acceleration times.
