Streamlined to the EV2’s sleek bodywork, the flush door handles provide smoother airflow and reinforce the clean, modern overall design.
Powered by an advanced 61.0 kWh battery³ with a range of up to 281 miles¹, the Kia EV2 supports fast DC charging in around 31 minutes⁴ via its 400V architecture. Smart features like the EV Route Planner and Kia Plug&Charge make charging simpler and more seamless – both on daily drives in the city and on long-distance journeys.
Enjoy space and flexibility where it matters most. The adaptable interior has 362 litres of trunk capacity providing ample room for up to four small suitcases, or the equivalent essentials that move with you every day.

The EV Route Planner takes the uncertainty out of electric journeys. Linked to the Kia Charge app, it recommends reliable charging stops in the best locations along your route and keeps everything seamlessly connected. So you can focus on the drive, not the charging.
The Kia EV2 features a comprehensive range of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). From anti-collision systems that help identify potential risks early, to highway assistance for added confidence at higher speeds. Plus, smart parking support that takes the stress out of tight spaces.
1 Electric range
The stated all-electric range of up to 281 miles applies to the Front Wheel Drive variant of the EV2 equipped with the 61 kWh battery only. Figures are based on latest available data WLTP pending.
Please note that the maximum AER figure is determined by the specific trim and wheel type of each EV2 variant, among other factors, and that the following figures apply: an all-electric range of up to 190 miles (18” wheels) and 196 miles (16” wheels).
The range was determined according to the standardized EU measurement procedure (WLTP). The individual driving style and other factors, such as speed, outside temperature, topography and the use of electricity-consuming devices/units, have an influence on the real-life range and can possibly reduce it.
2 Kia battery units
Kia high voltage lithium ion battery-units in electric vehicles (EV), hybrid electric vehicles (HEV) and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEV) are built to have a long life. These batteries are covered by the Kia warranty for a period of 7 years from initial registration or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first (8 years/100,000 miles for EV models registered from 01/01/2024). For low voltage batteries (48V and 12V) in mild-hybrid electric vehicles (MHEV), the Kia warranty covers a period of 2 years from initial registration regardless of mileage. For EVs and PHEVs only, Kia guarantees a 70% capacity of the battery. Capacity reduction for the battery in HEV and MHEV is not covered by the warranty. To minimise possible capacity reduction, consult the Owner’s Manual. For full Kia warranty terms and exclusions click here.
3 Battery charging time
In order to achieve the maximum charging speed, the EV2 must be connected to a suitable high-power 400-volt DC charging station. The additional driving range gained after 15 minutes of charging depends on different factors including the current state of charge of the battery, battery temperature and the charger used. It is also defined by the individual driving style and energy consumption.
4 V2L capabilities
Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) capabilities are subject to availability depending on market, local regulations, and compatible infrastructure. Additional equipment and services may be required. Kia makes no guarantee regarding the availability, functionality or performance of these features in all regions.
5 Home charging
The purchase and installation of any wall box charging equipment are the sole responsibility of the vehicle owner. Installation must be performed by a qualified professional and in full compliance with all applicable local laws, regulations, and safety standards. Kia assumes no liability for the installation, operation, or maintenance of wall box equipment.
6 Over-the-Air (OTA) updates & Kia Upgrades
New vehicles equipped with OTA-enabled navigation software, Kia offers, per vehicle, two free-of-charge updates of the maps in the vehicle’s navigation system and of the Head Unit software using the so-called “over-the-air” method (“OTA Updates”). Once the two free-of-charge OTA Updates have been consumed, you will be able to get updates of the maps in the vehicle’s navigation system and of the Head Unit software only (i) by accessing the following web page https://update.kia.com/EU/E1/Main or (ii) at a dearlership.
