From the moment your Jaguar is created, tyres are a key component in the overall design and engineering because they harness its power.
When it comes to tyres we always tread carefully. So we strongly recommend that you only choose tyres that have been selected, developed and tested for your Jaguar. Made with a specific construction and compound, they are uniquely tuned and designed to enhance performance. By using only Jaguar approved tyres, you will help maintain your vehicle’s full Warranty.
The testing and development of Jaguar approved tyres is carried out across the globe on a variety of different tracks and road surfaces. All tyres fitted from the point of the vehicle's production have to meet a balance of performance in multiple areas, including; tyre grip levels, handling (wet and dry), high speed stability, ride comfort, tyre wear and fuel consumption.
Incorrect tyre pressures can jeopardise car handling, reduce grip, decrease braking performance and cause uneven tyre wear. At Barretts Jaguar, we recommend you check your tyre pressures every 2 weeks.
Tyre tread is designed to disperse water and improve grip on the road in treacherous conditions. The design of the tread pattern allows the tyres to grip the road, improving safety and handling, even in adverse conditions.
Jaguar Winter tyres are designed specifically to counteract the lack of grip and hardening of surfaces brought on by cold weather, keeping you safe on the ice/snow-covered roads. They are hard wearing and last longer in these wicked conditions than other tyre types, providing cost-effective winter monitoring.

Although the legal limit of tyre tread depth is 1.6mm, this is very low and we would recommend changing your tyres at 3mm to ensure sufficient grip to the road.
If your wheel alignment is incorrect or any suspension components are worn then this will contribute to how your vehicle drives, uneven tyre wear and premature tyre wear.
