The all-new BMW iX brings the traditional twin headlights and kidney grill into the digital ages in an eye-catching, confident style. The all-new kidney grille follows the new design era with a vertical design serving as an 'intelligence panel' rather than a cooler, housing beautifully concealed sensors needed for autonomous driving capabilities.
Continuing the theme of concealment, the rear-view camera is integrated cleverly in the black band which surrounds the BMW Logo while internally the surround sound system is invisibly embedded within the door panels behind the fabric as well as being built within the headrests.
The slimline lights are a striking element for the iX, creating a clear reference to it's digital intelligence. The light element in the rear is not positioned behind a glass cover, rather the cover is the element which illuminates, creating a sharp impression. The elegant lines flow through to the sculptured body surfaces and frameless doors.
Sitting within the new BMW iX, you're surrounded by a sophisticated and relaxed atmosphere, peppered with luxurious, high-tech comforts. The new re-engineered lounge seats in the rear of the car are designed with contrasting seams to complement the beautifully crafted asymmetrical style.
Combine this with the intelligent and transparent centre console - replacing the buttons with sensors for a clean, clear appearance, complimented by the iDrive touch controller, presented in a high-quality, crystalled glass optic as part of the latest Shy Tech application. The new luxurious polygonal steering wheel and seat designs are great companions for the immersive curved digital display.
The 14.9" Control Display has merged with the 12.3" Information Display to create a single curved unit, taking driver centric controls to the next level. Finish the look with the brand new generation of Sky Lounge, an end-to-end panoramic glass roof which can be electrochromatically shaded to protect against direct sunlight and offer privacy when needed.
The BMW iX takes you on adventures beyond your expectations. Using dual BMW electric motors, the latest electric all-wheel drive system and the 5th generation of eDrive technology, this model delivers over 500hp and effortlessly powers from 0-62mph in less than 5 seconds*.
The adaptive 2-axle air suspension and individually adjustable recuperation system permit for greater range and enhanced handling, allowing easy transitions from sportier driving to pure comfort. In addition, thanks to the one-pedal dynamics, as found in the BMW i3, where the vehicle automatically brakes when your foot is removed from the accelerator.
