DRIVING DYANMICS

If you connect the BMW i5 to a Home Charger with 11 kW alternating current, it will take roughly 8.2 hours. If you use an AC charging station with double the output, that is 22 kW, this will reduce the charging time by a half to approximately 4.1 hours.

The fastest option for charging the BMW i5 is to use a direct current (DC) charging station with a maximum of 205 kW. In this case, you can charge the battery from 10 to 80% in only 30 minutes.

The BMW i5 eDrive40 is a high-performance electric vehicle with a powerful output of 340 hp (250 kW) and a torque of 400 Nm. It therefore accelerates, from 0-62 mph in only 6.0 seconds.

In combination with its electric drive, it unites sporting performance with high efficiency and sustainability. You will find all details on the driving dynamics of the BMW i5 in the technical data.
