Government Scrappage Scheme Extended for Honda new car sales.

Barretts Honda of Canterbury, Kent are pleased to announce that the government has announced that its car scrappage scheme is being extended by £100m or a further 100,000 vehicles.



The government has also announced that it will also lengthen the cut off point for the old cars being traded in by six months.

Meanwhile, van owners will be able to trade in their old commercial vehicle if it is more than eight years old, rather than the previous 10. The newly extended government scrappage allowance means that vans and commercial vehicles can be traded in against new Honda cars. 

The government says the changes will come into effect as soon as possible, once formal agreement has been reached with all the vehicle manufacturers.

Land Rover Freedom combines all the benefits of traditional finance methods to offer you an alternative way to purchase your Land Rover.

Just choose the Land Rover you wish to purchase, agree your annual mileage and decide your contract term, this can be anything from 24 – 48 months

Land Rover Finance will calculate the minimum value of your Land Rover at the end of your agreement. This is called the Guaranteed Minimum Future Value (GMFV) which is an Optional Final Payment.

The GMFV / Optional Final Payment and any deposit are deducted from the price of your vehicle. You pay instalments based on the remaining balance plus the agreement interest.

At the end of your agreement choose from one of the following options:
