This enables the Space Tourer to have three different lengths, from 4.6 metres to 5.3 metres, enabling up to 9 passengers to be transported. Each body size allows superior legroom for passengers and easy access to the rear-most seats. Two trim levels will be available; Feel and Business. Practicality is important and the Space Tourer is packed with features to make everyday life easier. The car's rear sliding doors can be opened automatically with the driver placing a foot under the corner of the bumper for when your hands are full. With features in the cabin such as a refrigerated glove box, aircraft style tray tables, intergrated sun blinds and two 12V power sockets all making any journey that bit more enjoyable.
Already listed as being one of the Best New Cars of 2016 by Auto Express:
"When the Space Tourer touches down near the end of 2016, it will become one of the most shamelessly practical MPVs on the market. Combining the basic dimensions of a van with the refinement of an MPV, it will be offered with a choice of three body sizes on two wheelbases. Ranging from 4.6 to 5.3 metres long, the big Citroen can be specified with up to nine seats – or just the five if you require a boot big enough to build a house in. Two distinct specs, Feel and Business, aim at family buyers and taxi drivers respectively. Features include individual chairs and touch screen infotainment incorporating Apple CarPlay."
Citroën's famous BlueHDi diesel engines power the Space Tourer. Power outputs range from 95bhp to 180bhp. The 115bhp stop start engine returns 55.4mpg and has CO2 emissions of just 133g/km. The Space Tourer has a five-star Euro NCAP rating, helped by the range of safety feautres from Lane Departure Warning to Active Cruise Control and Collision Alert.
