Marketing Executive - Job description
Reporting back to the Group Marketing Manager, the role of Marketing Executive is to look after a collection of brands within the Barretts Group.
Working with the relevant managers, you will create, execute, and analyse a varied range of campaigns through multi-channel media, including digital, traditional, and events, to achieve set marketing objectives and goals.
You will be a passionate and intuitive marketer, capable of working independently and as an integral part of a diverse and skilled in-house marketing department.
Responsibilities:
- Diligently uphold multiple corporate identities.
- Liaise with internal and external managers to support them in achieving business goals.
- Understand the consumer behaviour of individual brands to create insightful and targeted communications.
- Work to a quarterly marketing plan while also being able to work quickly on ad-hoc activity in response to a fast-paced working environment.
- Creation, execution, and analysis of strategic multi-channel marketing campaigns.
- Manage and build upon multiple social media channels, creating engaging and relevant content to increase followership and engagement.
- Content management of websites with the latest offers, products, and rich media.
- Monitor and improve search engine optimisation.
- Conduct competitor and industry research to bring insight to campaigns.
- Building personalised and highly targeted email and direct mail campaigns.
- Ensuring consistency across integrated marketing communications.
- Designing artwork for digital and traditional assets to Corporate Identify standards.
- Design assets for paid social media and Google Display ads.
- Record and edit high-quality, impactful video content for social media, website, and advertising purposes.
- Reputation management via social media, review channels, and business listings.
- Utilising time management and organisational skills to work to strict campaign deadlines.
Skills Required:
- Experience in a B2C and/or B2B marketing environment.
- BSc/BA in Marketing, Advertising, or relevant discipline.
- Proficiency in Photoshop/InDesign.
- Photography and videography skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS and experience with email facilities, e.g., Mailchimp.
- Experience in using CMS.
- Social media management.
- Copywriting skills.
- Knowledge of the latest marketing trends and tools.
- Understanding of multi-channel marketing.
- Proficient in Word and Excel.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Impeccable organization and time management skills.
